Go Beyond
There have been a lot of changes in my life this past while. New web framework,
happenings at work, and quite a few things internal to me. I keep realizing the
things that make me happy and the things that don't. I'm pursuing cutting out
the needless bits of my life that manage to not fulfill me, and embrace the
things that do.
I have a few conclusions of what I'm certain I enjoy thus far. For me to get to
this point is unusual, as most of my admitted interests are very specific or
almost induced in practicality, or incuded by related interests which branch off
into those topics.
So, the things that I enjoy:
Talking to those who are truly special to me.
Listening to my rather vintage stereo.
Vi and associated clones, such as Vim.
Interacting with my awesome colleagues at work.
Semi-cornering in my '02.
Being bold and stupid enough to upshift into second gear quickly enough to
spin the tires and look like a douche.
Leaving behind net-negative things on almost a whim. I've almost left
Facebook. OkCupid is likely next.
Humbling myself, the rare times I manage to do so.
Parking in a real garage, versus the street.
My brilliantly-built Vaio laptop. I know Sony is evil, but they actually got
something right with this one.
Progresive (and hypothetical, at this point) old-schooling with moving
towards console IRC clients, Mutt, and pianobar.
And yeah, a dumb post on the whole. I'll try to post more frequently to give you
guys something more interesting.
Sincerely,
Teran
