Projects
Over the years, I have come up with a fair number of projects. Most of them rather technical, and often deprecated, but I'll list them here for multiple reasons.
- Slashdot capable 486/foureightysix
- I got my i486DX with 16MB RAM going on Icadyptes and wrote a hit counting and top 20 referrer sorting WebLua script for it. See the 486 here, note that it may be down due to my internet connection, continual spamming, or other reasons. I might do more with the 486 later; not sure though. <- Edit: it has been unplugged for ages.
- WebLua
- A FastCGI API for using Lua in web applications. I used it on the 486. It needs to be heavily updated and changed, but the existing code is what the 486 uses.
- Zenserver
- My Zenwalk Linux-based server fork, deprecated since ages. The site used to be a lot nicer and more informative. However, steps were not taken to update Mediawiki or add adequate captcha protection, and the site became loaded with spam and was replaced with a static site.
- Icadyptes
- My Arch Linux fork, which is currently hosting the page you are seeing now and is under heavy, active development. It is not nearly as polished as Zenserver for the end user, but it is slowly getting there. Icadyptes will eventually be my attempt to fix computing (yes, I know I sound insane); more on that later.
- eleutherNet
- Now (hopefully temporarily) taken down, it was a OpenVPN-based public VPN for anonyitomy, security, and privacy. I have plans for it later.
- HLB Studios
- I made this website to help a good friend of mine sell her duct tape wallets and other artwork. It currently runs on Drupal 6, Ubercart, a bunch of other modules, and a healthy dose of good luck.
- doslinux
- You don't even want to know.
- Beyond Purpose
- Don't ask.
- Numerous pseudo-IT startups from before I was 13
- Again, don't ask... Invalid IT, Zero Tech, Breakpoint IT.
- Bluag
- A WebLua 0.2-based (0.3 broke API compatibility) blog system. Guessing it's horribly bug ridden. I released 0.2 once, but lost the tarball. You should save your sanity and not try it, although it was kind of cool.
- Finding the answers to life, love, and everything
- On going, check back later.
