The US election is upcoming. Unless Obama swings something and stays in office another term, it's likely we will have a different president.
One of the more interesting candidates is Bernie Sanders. An admitted socialist. Socialism, somehow, is becoming a fashionable word in the US. At least in parts, definitely not all over.
I noticed with some frequency that one news-ish source kept posting about him. AJ+. What is the AJ? Al Jazeera. A rather large news group from Qatar. AJ+ seems to be a group out of San Francisco who's backing Bernie quite a lot. AJ+ is pretty popular. Not immensely huge, but not small at all.
Now, being in San Francisco it's quite possible that the writers at AJ+ just love Bernie Sanders. I also think that Al Jazeera themselves, largely government funded (as far as I know), may be backing him heavily. He doesn't seem like the epitomy of Middle-Eastern ideals, but he certainly has great potential to continue crashing the country. Would that be in Qatar's favor? I don't know. Either way, the group produces videos of good quality and quite a number of them. While making direct contributions as a corporation is a sketchy area these days, it seems if you happen to be a news company and work indirectly in their favor, you can do whatever you want (and I don't think you should be restricted either way).
And the video source, itself: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV3Nm3T-XAgVhKH9jT0ViRg/videos
And a likely anti-Hillary video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2Ovgc1BEmg
So keep an eye on him. An openly socialist president... at least this he would have an honest and consistent agenda.
