At the moment I'm not making enough income with SporeStack for comfortable living. I'm continuing to work on it while pursuing other avenues, but am now open to the idea of employment. It would be a big jump for me but I should keep my eyes open.
I generally prefer half-time, half-pay, remote. But am open to different options. Would prefer work that allows me to keep my endeavors on the side going.
In general, I write Python, want to write more Go, use Debian while disliking it, use SaltStack, and generally fit under software/systems/devops engineering titles. I have experience in virtualization, automation, configuration management, devops (where developers actually do some operations), security, networking, Tor, Linux, and FreeBSD. I've made three Linux distributions and have been in the field quite a while for my age.
I can also consider short term consulting, this might be the best bet for me.
Lastly, I'm interested in tutoring. Although unfortunately I don't consider myself to be a very good teacher.
